FEATURES:
This fantastic wooden trough is truly substantial. Solid wood is decorated with beautiful iron studs. What make the trough special and valuable is that these studs are mounted on antique coins. Iron brackets and iron handles further strengthen the trough. Iron studs are repeated on the framework completing its rustic, strong look. This was a "harvest basket" in northern China, used to hold grains, corns and other harvest.
Hung on the wall, used as a planter or holding bucket, this piece makes a bold statement. Its natural, vernacular appeal is timeless.
