A solid wood red lacquered bath tub. This middle section of the top removes to reveal a substantial space for soaking or storage. Interior in excellent condition. Red lacquer, an auspicious color for southern China, symbolizes good fortune. Beautiful solid iron and brass hardware. Tub is strong and solid wood, we believe it is ready to use but we have not test it for waterproofness and cannot guarantee it's waterproof. We added a bronze pull on the middle section to make it easier to lift and remove.
