This exquisite incense burner features a carved dragon as a finial as well as a pair of dragons on the sides, each holding a free rotating ring. The base is carved with a melon pattern. The suspending ring design is repeated here. The flower scroll pattern on the lid is a favorite design of ancient censer, with pierced hole allowing the aromatic smoke to escape and perfume the air.
The censer is carved entirely of natural green serpentine, with no artificial enhancements of any kind whatsoever. All color and luster is natural to the stone.
