A beautiful, light weight, small cabinet by the Chinese furniture master Zhong. The design based on Ming dynasty round corner cabinets, with doors set between horizontal stretchers under a single panel top with rounded corners. An elegant apron sits under the bottom stretcher adds stability and sense of sophistication. Door opens to reveal a space for hanging of necklaces or doll clothes with a removable dowel set on firmly affixed brackets. A hand cut and crafted solid brass medallion decorates the cabinet, with a pair of pulls in the design of brass flower baskets. This beautiful cabinet is hand made with preservation of the master's pencil marks made during construction. Smoothly finished, and left unpainted or lacquered, the cabinet is done purposefully without finish, leaving raw woods and its fragrance untouched.
