Antique Cloisonne Censer

A fine antique Chinese cloisonné incense burner, crafted with vibrant turquoise blue enamel and intricate multicolored floral and geometric motifs. The solid brass body is adorned with stylized lotus blossoms and scrolling foliage while the broad, gracefully shaped overhanging rim is decorated with continuous eternity motifs. Four sculptural gilt bronze feet elevate the piece, lending it a dignified architectural presence. The interior retains its original blue enamel finish, showing natural wear and patina consistent with age. A charming example of traditional Chinese enamel craftsmanship, this petite incense burner is highly collectible, and can be used as a small planter for miniature plants, or as a very charming accent on your shelf or table.
